I feed my bulldog mix 8 cups of Canidae food per day, four in the morning and 4 at night and I can still see his ribs somewhat. . . ? In everyother way he is a healthy dog, is there anything that I can add to his food to up the weight builder? I do not want him muscle bound, just not wanting the slender look.
I had him to the vet to check him out – he has a clean bill of health. My vet did not think too much of it cause he is an active dog, and young. Maybe I just need to wait a bit yet. Thanks

Product DescriptionUtilizing natural muscle-boosting, Mass Appeal is specifically formulated to enhance athletic performance without side effect. Creatine, the primary ingredient in Mass Appeal, functions as a storage molecule for high-energy phosphate bonds. These high-energy bonds provide greater energy during exercise requiring short periods of intense activity, such as weight lifting, sprinting, and jumping. Creatine causes a cell volumizing effect within the muscle by forcing additional water into the muscle cells. This promotes an increase in protein synthesis within the muscle which facilitates growth while slowing down the destructive breakdown of muscle cells that occurs during normal exercise. Mass Appeal also contains the branched chain amino acids (BCAAs) L-leucine, L-valine and L-isoleucine, which also increase protein synthesis and are oxidized inside muscle cells leading to a protein-sparing effect which indirectly increases anabolism by reducing the muscles need to burn its own proteins during strenuous exercise. Other key ingredients used to protect against muscle catabolism include alpha-ketoglutaric acid and L-glutamine. Inosine, an important compound within Mass Appeal, is known for its role in helping make ATP (adenosine triphosphate), the bodys main form of usable energy. Additionally, it may augment oxygen utilization within red blood cells and increase flow of these cells into muscle tissue. Through supplementation, the normal catabolic breakdown of muscle can be minimized and the muscle tissue preserved. This product is gluten free.

Mass Appeal has been listed in the Physicians Desk Reference® (PDR®) for Nonprescription Drugs and Dietary Supplements, the authoritative reference for health care professionals for decades.

Serious athletes are delighted to learn that WIN Worldwide BV participates in the Netherlands Security System Food Supplements Top Sport [NZVT] system with the following products: ProXtremeTM, Mass AppealTM, Sure2EndureTM

But what you do need is to increase your muscle volume. The larger your muscles are, the more fat your muscles burn. Burning fat means that you lose weight, and the fat lost first is typically the most unsightly, unwelcome kind.
People often believe that adding muscle mass to your body means that you’re adding or increasing the number of muscle cells you have. It couldn’t be farther from the truth. Today, it is physically impossible to add or subtract from the number of muscle cells you already have. In the future who knows what will be possible, with the rate at which science is advancing, but for now you can put that worry to rest. It is a complete fallacy. You cannot add muscle cells to your body.
You can, however, make each muscle cell larger. It stands to reason that since muscle cells need energy to work, larger cells need greater amounts of energy. Where does energy come from? It is stored inside fat. So larger muscles burn off more fat, it couldn’t be any simpler. That’s why it’s so critical to get more muscle volume when you’re trying to drop pounds.
A person might wonder, “How do I increase muscle volume?” As always, diet and exercise is the key. Instead of large meals, aim for six smaller meals throughout the day. They should be eaten about every 2. 5 to 3 hours, all containing equal amounts of protein, carbs, and green veggies. A portion size is roughly equal to the size of your rounded fist.
Once you’ve got a decent eating plan in place, you need to work in some cardio exercise. You should be doing a cardiovascular activity 20 minutes every day to get your heart rate up. This should be done three days a week. Most people report that these exercises are best done when the stomach is empty, like first thing upon waking up.
But you can’t just do cardio. To build muscles, you also have to incorporate weight training into your workout regime. Use weights three to four days a week for 30 to 45 minutes each time. Concentrate on a single muscle group for 10 to 12 repetitions and 1 to 3 sets before moving on to another muscle group. This will build muscle strength and volume.
Now that you’ve got a good diet, healthy cardio, and strength training in your life, you’re well on your way to meeting your weight loss goals! Those are the three keys to a good weight loss program. You may add dietary supplements, but talk to a nutritionist first before taking anything.
And remember to sit down to discuss this or any other exercise or eating plan with your doctor before beginning.

Food

The most important aspect of food in relation to gaining lean muscle is in the timing of food intake. That comes in two parts. Firstly, to have enough energy for your workout, you would want to eat at least 1. 5 hours before that workout. No sooner. Digestion is the most energy-consuming thing our bodies do. If we eat just before getting to the gym or starting our workout at home, our body is busy digesting. In order to get energy from the food we eat, it must first be digested. This takes at least 1. 5 hours. Carbs are the primary source of energy. I suggest rice and vegetables, or some other grain. Secondly, during exercise, our body uses the glycogen stored in our muscles for energy.

Consume More Calories

Regardless of whether my new clients want to gain or lose weight, I have them first and foremost perform a 3 to 5-day food record. This is a tedious process and will take a few minutes after every meal or at the end of your day, but the information that it will give you will be crucial in meeting your weight gain goals.

The purpose of this is to give you an idea of how many calories, carbohydrate, fat, and protein you consume on average as well as to increase your awareness of the caloric content of different foods you eat. You can then take this information and build upon it.

Protein is important

Increase your protein intake. Your body needs a lot of protein to build new muscle. But since most of the calories for weight gain come from carbohydrates and fats, do not replace them with protein.

Weights are the way to go

Focus on free weight exercises (which do not require machinery) that target your large muscle groups. For example, you need dumbbells, not fancy gym machines. Free weights put the most stress on muscles and stimulate the maximum number of muscle fibers. The best weight training exercises for building muscle mass are free weight exercises like squats, dead lifts, bench presses, barbell rows, pull ups and bar dips. These exercises are best done under supervision, but they don’t need machinery.

Train Intensely

You must work each set until you can’t do another repetition in good form. There is no point in stopping at a set number of reps (such as 8), if you are capable of doing 12. Your body needs to be challenged or it will not adapt by building new muscle or burning off body fat.

Train Infrequently

Your body needs time to recover from your weight training routine, so that in can adapt and grow. If you train with weights before your body is completely recovered, you won’t add new muscle and will eventually over train, a big no no

Carbohydrates

Many beginners or “hardgainers” get carried away with the importance of protein to gain muscle. Your focus should be on consuming complex carbohydrates to fuel your workouts. At least 60% of your total calories should be from carbohydrates.

Considering the fact that everyone is different in age, size, shape, endurance and strength, different people are going to require different muscle building workout routines. These muscle building workout routines ideally should be carried out according to the recommendations of your family doctor or even better, an experienced personal trainer. However, in absence of that, there are many general muscle building routines which can be very effective that apply to most people. Your mentality and attitude is one of the most significant factors to work on, as determination and sharp focus need to be maintained in order to receive the ideal results that you are looking for. This is one of the most important aspects to your success in building muscle and achieving that body you’re striving for. In your muscle building venture, it is important that you shed any excess fat that may be present, and build your muscle up. So, being keenly aware of your food intake is quite important in this whole process. As I’ve said in the beginning of this article, there is no one size fits all in your muscle building workout routines, so the types of foods you take in should be determined in relation to your current physical stature or status. However, the manner in which you consume these foods should generally remain the same. This would be eating about six to a maximum of eight small meals throughout the day, as opposed to three big ones. This helps boost your metabolism for achieving maximum results in body performance and burning of excess fat. It is generally a good idea to eat carbs after every meal to keep the metabolism moving after each meal, as well. Supplements of protein may be taken every three or four hours or so, and you should try to avoid based food or snacks as much as you possibly can. Sleep and rest is also quite important, you should do your best at sleeping for at least eight hours every night. Muscle building workout routines should consist of around 3-4 workouts every week, once again depending on your own personal needs. A person doing muscle building that plans on working out to take part in a body building competition would typically work out around six days of the week, taking maybe only one day out of the week for rest. An individual desiring weight loss and tone muscle would only require around a few days a week. Getting enough rest in between your sets is extremely vital in getting your muscles to grow to their maximum stature or build. The larger weights should be utilized for building up your muscles more, whereas the smaller or lighter weights are to keep your currents muscles at their peak size or tone them up. If you do happen to have a personal trainer, your muscle building routines should be looked over and reviewed frequently by them to be assured that the maximum effects are being attained and you are up to par with your full potential. What are the muscle building workout routines that will work best for you?Article Source: http://ezinearticles. com/?Muscle-Building-Workout-Routines—For-Super-Fast-Results&id=2553474
