Aamir is known for his intense performances. Personal trainer Satyajit Chaurasia is not one to let go easily and was responsible for making Aamir go the extra mile.

He also adds that to get the right physique apart from a good workout session, one also needs to have a balanced diet and get good, adequate rest. Aamir`s diet consisted of 16 egg whites each single day and no matter how busy he was, he managed to get at least eight hours of sleep during his training.

 

“The Journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step” and it was sometime in Dec 2006 that Aamir Khan ‘Perfectionist’ decided to take the first step of getting into the character for his role in Ghajini. Last year SRK created a frenzy of sorts when he showed his six-pack abs in Om Shanti Om. Not one to be left behind, Aamir has now gone one step ahead and developed eight pack abs for his role in Ghajini. and he did it.

Aamir– Most of the time, Aamir used to work out at his own gym along with his personal trainer Satya. In fact many years back, it was Aamir who encouraged Satya to develop a career in personal training when he had come from Nagpur with the hopes of making it big in Bollywood. Today, Satya runs the popular Barbarian gym in Mumbai that boasts of a clientele comprising the Who’s who of Bollywood. Known to be a taskmaster, Satya is seen pushing Aamir, as the actor sweats it out doing the ‘inclined sit-ups’ to get those washboard abs.

After a year of hardcore training, Aamir has finally got the body that he desired so badly. The results are there for all to see; within a year, Aamir’s biceps have increased from 12″ to 16″ while his chest, which was earlier 38″, now measures up to 44″. Aamir is now all set to unleash his fury on screen come December 25, 2008. Remember Ghajini!

 

Asin will also be seen opposite Salman Khan in London Dreams, for which she has reportedly been paid close to Rs 1. 5 crore.

Regarding her tiff with Jiah Khan on the sets of Ghajini, she says, “Competition and one-upmanship have never been on my mind. This is one thing different in Bollywood, even if you don’t do anything, something is written about you. I think the Bollywood media can make a successful masala pot boiler with the imaginative stories that they churn out. ” About her expensive shopping spree with the producer of London Dreams and her buying shoes that cost Rs two lakhs, a peeved Asin says, “I wish I had a pair of shoes that cost that much. In Bollywood, the designer gets all the clothes and accessories ready for the shoot, and we go to the sets and wear them. They are all set properties. It is ridiculous to say that I went shopping with the producer to buy the shoes. ”

 

“Aamir had a lot of fat content in his body earlier and it was very necessary to convert it into muscle through protein diet. For that, I made him follow a proportionate balanced diet daily containing 40 percent carbohydrates, 40 percent protein and 20 percent fat,” Satyajit ‘Satya’ Chaurasia, who trained the actor for the film, told IANS.

“Aamir’s body is mostly made on eggs as he used to have 16 egg whites through the day. I advised him to follow a two-egg whites and toast meal every two hours. Besides that, he also consumed 250 gram barbecued chicken for lunch and dinner each,” Chaurasia added.

The eating part though didn’t end here as there were more workout-eating sessions for the actor.

“He used to consume food supplements like amino acids and protein shakes after exercises,” he informed.

Aamir also had to adopt a disciplinary regimen.

“He had to give up on oil, sugar and alcohol consumption and late night parties as I strictly asked him to sleep for eight hours at a stretch before workouts,” said Chaurasia.

“He used to message me before sleeping every night depending on whenever he got to go to bed so that I could be at his place accordingly the next day. ”

The actor’s much talked about eight-pack abs were not the result of working out in a professional gym but a mini-version of the same built in his garage.

“It would have taken more than an a hour and a half for Aamir to reach my gym, which is in Lokhandwala from his home in Bandra, so we decided to make a gym in his garage itself.

“However, when his body started showing good results in three months, I set up professional tools for him ordered from renowned company Tough Stuff from the US worth Rs. 2. 5 million,” he said.
